Kevin Whitney and his family moved to Metropolis and Krypto finds him after his rocket crashes. Kevin wears a translator in his ear so he can communicate with animals.

Kevin sometimes accompanies Krypto and even his friends on crime fighting missions. He meets Krypto in the episode Krypto's Scrypto and he meets Tail Terrier in the episode The Good Life and he meets Brainy Barker in the episode Barrump Barrump. He meets Ace the Bat-Hound in the episode, Ruffled Feathers.

Biography

The only certain parts of Kevin's biography is that he was born to Mary Whitney and Eddie Whitney as their first-born son before they moved to Metropolis.

Appearance

Kevin is a slender 9-year-old human boy. He has a brown hair, and normally wears a blue T-shirt with bright green parts, purple pants and black sneakers.

At night, Kevin wears matching blue and green pajama shirt and pants.

Personality

Kevin is clever and is capable to understand animals, like his new friend Krypto the Superdog, thanks to the universal translator. He is known to be a secret keeper when it comes to Krypto’s superhero identity. For example, Krypto lives with Kevin’s family as a normal dog. Sometimes, he tends to act before thinking, which can get him into trouble. He is also protective towards not only Krypto but also his little sister Melanie. His cousin Bailey doesn't usually get along with him.
